Overview
Shakespeare® 4266 is a broadband UHF antenna engineered for reliable military and tactical communications across the 403–470 MHz frequency range. This innovative antenna features a center-fed coaxial sleeve dipole sealed within a durable fiberglass radome for long-lasting protection against environmental elements. 4266’s integrated broadband choking circuit allows it to operate independently of a ground plane, permitting versatile operation on vehicles, shelters, buildings, masts, and ships. A built-in passive broadband matching network provides instantaneous bandwidth across the full frequency spectrum with a nominal 50-ohm impedance. A stainless-steel spring between the radome and mounting plate provides flexibility under impact, while black oxide-coated metal components provide corrosion resistance in saltwater conditions. Internal brass tubing elements ensure maximum conductivity and dependability.
